Discuss how your CCRC/LifePlan community engages with your Board of Directors and senior management. For example, does your community have residents on your Board? If so how many? Do they have a vote? How are they selected?

In addition to Independent Living (IL), most CCRCs have Assisted Living (AL) and Skilled Nursing (SN) facilities on the same site and are included in their Continuing Care contract. However, there is no standard and very little regulation or oversight except for skilled nursing. Post your thoughts and comment about Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing in this forum.
