Realitively Modest Increases?

If healthcare costs are only up 2.8% and nursing homes 3.3%, i'm hard pressed to explain the 4.45% increase at my CCRC in 2026 and the five year average of 4.81 (excluding the Covid year increase). Any data on nationwide CCRC fee increase trends?

Healthcare prices continue to rise, but the latest figures suggest that increases for nursing homes and home care have been comparatively modest. That may sound reassuring—until we ask how those increases compare with the annual fee increases experienced by residents of continuing care communities.

The numbers offer a useful benchmark for residents and resident associations seeking clearer explanations of where their money is going and why community charges are rising.
