Dietician for menu review
Author Last Post

In our community there is an open relationship between the Dietician and the Executive Chef. They work together to provide the meals in all dining venues. While the dietician works more with Skilled care and assisted living residents, she ia available by appointment to all residents with dietary questions or concerns. There is no fee for her services.

We have a registered dietician who normally works in assisted living but is available for consulting with residents in independent living, for a fee. We are hoping to get her additional time to work with the executive chef on menu planning and defining special needs diets. I'm not sure this would happen, but there are indications that the executive chef and sous chef would feel resentful that someone is telling them how to do their job. Is this a problem elsewhere?
