My single site, non-profit, CCRC with 420 residents does not have any mental health professionals contracted or on staff. We would like to know how mental health services are provided for residents of other CCRCs including independent living and assisted living.

Charlestown has a psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist and a Licensed Certified Social Worker on the staff full-time in the Medical Center. The Social Worker does the annual Medicare Wellness visits. We also have four physicians that work full-time.

We have a psychiatrist who comes in once a week at our CCRC.

Medford Leas. a CCRC in Medford, New Jersey, has one very busy psychologist. She does an amazing job helping to deal with many losses but residents clearly need more help.
